I am so glad not only to be alive but to be vitally alive. I think,
I move, I act, I choose, I run, I see, I understand, I love, I laugh, I touch, I believe, I eat, I drink, I sew, I play, I work, I rest, I do, I ...!

It is my sincere prayer that we experience and therefore emit more joy, laughter, and peace. May the blessings of our heart and mind cause an instantaneous, rambunctious, and eternal splurge of unprecedented and unstoppable JOY. May you receive it completely throughout your mind, heart, body and soul! Go ahead, put your toe into the pool.

Let us keep life moving with ease. May our pace be guided with the clarity of revelation so that our ideas are energized and fueled by purpose.

Glory and Honor

Give glory and honor to God today with your highest praise. If you can move your body, give a movement just for that power within you which makes it so. If you are able to give a kind word, look at someone directly in the eyes and show, speak, nod or smile your truth - which is love, for without it we would be scattered and dispersed throughout space. At times life is hard but when your heart is redirected back to the Master's Way and you are given yet another opportunity to smile no matter how much knowledge or money you have...  YEEE HAAAA! .... YES! There it is - the true meaning of life. Love yourself unconditionally so you can love someone else with no strings attached. Smile because you have a reason. Laugh because you want to and dance because you have yet another opportunity. Today...right Now is what you have to work with.

With your highest praise give glory and honor today! Sing a new song out loud, smile at another regardless as to what they may think about you. Own your walk, your talk and your thoughts which are no better nor any less than anyone else's; but they empower YOU! It is a good day - it was made good because it was made by God: Universal Good. Tap into it. Connect with the good in this day and give praise.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. To all fathers and those who have had to accept the role, may your day be blessed and may you continue to let Love be your guide. 

In the words of one of the most musically accomplished and highly acclaimed recording artists, Earth, Wind and Fire: 

"Father open our eyes that we may see, to follow Thee. Grant us Thy loving peace and let all dissension cease. Let our faith each day increase. Open our eyes!"

 Those who do the best they know to do realize that it is enough only when unconditional love is directing their path. Love will reveal the right technique for each particular child, but without it, all of the techniques in the world amassed together will make no difference. 


Fathers may you experience the joy of life's outreaching and ongoing capacity with its tremendous strength, vitality, abundance and discipline. May you be blessed spiritually, mentally and physically so as to know your path clearly and with peace.

Happy Easter!

Take  moment to focus your attention on the excellence of the universe. How wonderful it is to know that we are a part of the wonder and the glory. It is wonderful to know that  we are the very specific and integral part of this excellence responsible to bring all parts together for reverence. We are here to honor the beauty, intelligence, and nature of the Universal Creative  Plan. It is our purpose to shine the creative spark within and to do it from our inherent inner base of love, beauty and kindness as the spreaders of light that we are.

I send this Easter message to all who are going or have gone through life's many toils and snares, whips and lashes, bumps and bashes. Life just keeps bringing us to the crossroad where we come face-to-face with our Creator. It is mighty good to know that we are not alone and that we are made to endure. We are more than conquerors and that we are built to move through circumstances which cannot last and will always change. May you move through life's transitions with the strength and faith that Jesus the way-shower taught. Meditate daily and merge with our Essence to bathe in the inner fountain of truth, purity, luminescence and blessings as we continue shedding and sloughing off the dead cells what we no longer need to express our loving, true and genuine character.

Perfection is Being True to You

The most perfect that we can be is being exactly who we are created to be...Our true selves! Rather than trying to imitate others or fill media and/or celebrity objectives (which is suicide), we must learn who we are and become clear about our own intentions so that we may grow and develop our inner desires. Then and only then will we trust ourselves to unfold with grace while experiences condition and polish  our inner glow and shine of integrity.   Being your unique self requires every ounce of energy and all resources that you possess. Each of  us is an unrepeatable idea of perfect substance. The perfection is already within us and empowers us to continuously move through daily options and making choices that best fit us spiritually, physically, socially and mentally. True perfection is being comfortable being "Yourself", anything else is a tedious job in futilty, working at being something that someone else has defined as perfect. There is nobody else like me or you and therein lies the perfection. Be truly and perfectly You!

To Wonderful Mothers

Mother's Day is the time to recognize and celebrate the Divine Feminine Energy which loves and nourishes and gives. It is a time to be grateful for the guidance that comes through our Mother figures which constantly tells us to "check ourselves before we wreck ourselves" whether we choose to take heed or not. The Mother figure who takes on the many risks to provide a way for us to grow and develop, regardless as to whether it causes awkwardness or even hardship to herself; her mission to nurture and protect is blatantly obvious. Today we recognize and salute her stately demeanor.

Rise in Me! Easter [Resurrection] Message

This is the message I shared with my family during a weekly Lenten practice. This is a song written by Rickie Byars-Beckwith of the Agape International Spiritual Center. It helps to keep me strong, focused and true. I pray that it comforts, stirs, uplifts and empowers you.

"Creator of the universe, how great YOU are,

It is my ever-affirming prayer that your Easter was joyful and caused great awakening as we continue to live, move and have being in the very Substance that is GOD! that is Divine! that is Holy! that is Loving! that is Wholeness and therefore Healing! that is Beautifying! that is Peaceful and therefore Harmonizing! that is ever-present and therefore within! that is ours.

Only out of GOD does the world take form.
Love, peace, joy and beauty be with us all as we allow the same to express through us, as us.

Great Day in The Presence!

May we recognize the love that is everywhere, around and within us as we move through this week interacting with one another. Let us remember that as children [offspring] of God, we are all of the same Divine Source, none any better than the other but absolutely unique and splendid in our own sameness and differences, which in all actuality are made to complement one another. 

It is our gift back to Life; just as when we inhale our exhalation immediately gives back. Let us constantly remember and choose to act accordingly to our true nature rather than like wild creatures without intelligence, guidance or love.

Remember! We are divine beings!

Pour Your Spirit

Pour your spirit of love out today with me. It's a GREAT! GREAT Day. I'm doing a dance combining the Nigerian JUJU, African-American Funk, Salsa, and Cha-Cha! Dance with me today for it is the day the Lord (Law of right action, love, beauty, peace, Joy, Power, Divine order, Wholeness and Perfection) has made. Rejoice and be Glad in it.  Toast to another year of health and wellness by celebrating with me and having a healthy smoothie. Here's a recipe to

Ethel's Green Love Potion(TM) that I love:

    1 peach, apple, pear, or banana

    2-3 kale leaves (cleaned, with stems)

    1TBL - sunflower seeds

    2-3 Figs

    1TBL - wheat germ

    1/8 cup Almond milk

    1/8 cup - prune juice

Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a beautiful tall glass. Tip your glass and "Toast to Life and renewed health".

I thank God for the regeneration occurring right now this very moment and each moment of our lives. I am full today... So very thankful and I don't care who knows it, as a matter of fact I want everybody to know it, because if God is blessing me you had better know God is blessing you as well. God is no respecter of persons but we have to walk in Spirit and stay in flow with God's Will recognizing that God is with us always and there is no separation from God except in our thinking which guides our behavior. My love, faith and joy are renewed so here's to you FB and Blogspot family. I love you with a clean, unadulterated and lively spirit. Oh yeah, remember this... People everywhere can see your genius; it is indeed the God in you. So recognize it yourself, appreciate it and BE just what the Almighty is as It works in, through and as You. Trust the Divine within.  The best is not yet to come; it is NOW! The best is given every single moment that you choose to validate and love Yourself by Being who God created you to be!

Back To School Inner Glow - Fall 2012

I pray for all the children, Black, Yellow, Brown, Red, and  White, including gays, straight, all religions, genders and creeds will have the most wonderful, productive, safe and healthy school year which propels them to demonstrate more of the greatness that is within them, ready to burst forth in all of its glory. This inner greatness is being called forth from the Universal Source for healing in the world. 

Let us show them that they are valued. And if you cannot show them, at the very least, tell them, that they are valued. Let them know, emphatically and without having to guess, that they are cared for and valued. Our children have so very much to give this world and it all begins with the immediate family and expands into the school, then the community and then the world at large.

When our children know that greatness is within themselves as well as within everyone else; then much of the violence, jealousy, back-stabbing, and self-deprecation which outwardly expresses as hatred of others; will dissipate. Psychological and Sociological studies support the following theory that a poor, loathing self-concept  will more likely cause self-destruction and consequently, even more destruction in the enviornment and communities wherein we live. Ask what this may mean to you and your family.

May we all help our children to value who they are regardless of the mis-takes that they make or have made. Who among us have never made mis-takes? Who among us will never make mis-takes again? Making mis-takes is the human-being kind of learning, and evolving process whereby we get better at decision-making with each mistake from which we honestly deal with, which in turn promotes "learning and growth".

It is 12:00 noon, have you hugged your child today? Give your children and even other children who may not be yours a positive word of encouragement. Let them know you expect positive and life-engendering kinds of thinking from them. Help them to know loving-kindness, pardon and toleration.  Reward your children for taking responsibility for their own actions; letting them know that there is absolutely nothing weak or wrong with an appropriately deserved apology. Commend them for demonstrating patience and showing good manners to all people, and not just for those whom they have labelled "celebrity".  Let them know we all are to be celebrated; then let us watch miracles begin to happen in our families, communities and our world at large.

Indelible Marks of Strength

The story of young Gabby Douglas impels monumental strength on many levels. In this video entitled Raising an Olympian - GABBY DOUGLAS, aspects of her life detailing  the "hard work" involved which led to her culminating moment of success are discussed. These cross-sections of her life and training leave me deeply touched and encouraged.

Having moved many, many miles from her home, family, and friends; the physical and mental strength of this young lady impresses me and offers vital nutrients for anyone who values personal growth. With incredible persistence, Gabby keeps her eye on the prize, beginning with her own recognition of her talent which led to her taking responsibility for acknowledging that she wanted the best coaches and training to hone her skills. At her young age she refuses to allow negative remarks to deter her efforts.

On every level, her mother's love cut through barriers of fear, doubt and worry and all that was familiar faded to memories. An amazing feat: her mother loved her, guided her and parented her from afar. Despite deep emotional feelings of missing Gabby and she being home sick, her mom helped her realize the high road of completing the task that she set out to finish.

The honesty, willingness, and courage of the newly extended family was a show of loving kindness beyond measure. Deeply heartfelt, all parts became one synchronized body with strong intention; all becoming the stepping stones of persistence to the victorious pinnacle of success.

After viewing, please respond by sharing a word, phrase or idea that comes to your awareness; one  which will leave an indelible mark on your life. Consider how Gabby's life has made an impact on yours. What major implications regarding decision-making and responsible choice selection does her life's examples offer you?

I give thanks to God, including everyone involved for providing the world this living demonstration of what we have the capacity to do when we work together in love, truth, honor and mutual respect.  The gift to the world is the "good" that each of us will "share" with another as a result of allowing ourselves to feel the impact of Gabby's life and success. Ever-Wonderful You

Nothing but the grace of God. May we stay focussed in 2012 and keep the faith, trusting God - the Source and Substance of our supply. Remember God (the Creative Source and Force) is with us and forever for us. God is everfaithful and is always working in our lives. The musical giants, Earth Wind and Fire stated this way in their song entitled, "Be Ever Wonderful"!
Those situations that look bleak on the outside are disguising a wonderful new growth to be revealed. Oh, I know it still does not feel too good. Our job is to keep our eye (our mental attention and resources) and our "I am" (that with which we repeatedly identify and claim as ours) on the prize; continually knowing that God is always providing for (universal) good, while the Living Spirit is nudging us within, constantly guiding how, when, and where we are to move our feet for the collective and always higher good, of everyone involved.

Tyler Perry says believe in what you are doing and then keep your focus there. In essence, he tells us that we will see the fruits of our belief.

In his book The Laws of Prosperity,  E. Bernard Jordan states, "God is the ultimate source, and his Divine nature grants us the power to order and manifest whatever kind of reality we can create. All new things...begin as ideas in a fertile Mind skilled at manifestation. We have only to hold the I Am in our minds, and gradually the forces of the universe pool and gather like an accumulating electrical current to break into the material plane and give us our desire."

I give thanks for these messages and the awareness that comes through them. May we gain more focus on the Divine as we unfold our beliefs. As we live, move and have being remain ever-wonderful.

Be Richly Blessed

Many say that we are born on this earth and we come without an instruction manual. Many books of sacred writings offer plenty instructions; the question is how earnest are we in our search and desire to use the instruction? Be richly blessed with a vital instruction that gives and keeps giving.

This scriptural reference is taken from the Amplified Bible: Ephesians 4:29 -

"Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace [God's favor] to those who hear it."

Need I say anything more but be diligent, be true to yourself, be blessed and be a blessing to others? Advice such as this will prosper in ways beyond what we can imagine. Try it and see and then pass it on. Have a day of blessings upon blessings upon blessings.

Stay well All - Let's know today, for ourselves and for another person in your life that God is the good and very good provision for the unfoldment of our highest potential now. Keep Your Head to the Sky   is what the divine expression of the 70's music group  Earth Wind and Fire told us and "the clouds will tell us why" Head Up (click link). Get still and know God within you, in this moment. Keep your focus on your dreams and that which truly matters to you; doing so places our dreams on the path of our goals and on target for formation.

It's a New You Couples

To the married couples: Ask yourself how much precious time are you willing to keep wasting by abusing and misusing the talents and uniqueness of one anonther? Playing mental and competitive games with one another, while your life and your children’s' lives just slip on by unproductively cared for and poorly invested in becomes the norm when these patterns are not recognized and deliberately changed?  

Marriage is a give and receive kind of deal – it takes compromise from BOTH parties involved. If you are unwilling to compromise you will more than likely find yourself lonely. It takes two people to marry, therefore the two involved will need to discuss the hard stuff, the ugly stuff as well as the good and fun stuff to make the marriage work; which then teaches and demonstrates effective ways of dealing with life's issues to the entire family. Your children will learn to handle differently, the situations that they encounter in their daily affairs. Your family's way of discussing topics and handling issues with more reasoning and acceptance will be heightened. It's a new year; try handling your issues in a different way - a lighter and more negotiable way.

Check yourself and take stock; are you wasting and/or abusing life with arguements, fighting and competitive crap; or are you investing in it? If you are investing in it, what are your investments? Are they positive thoughts and loving deeds? Are they meaningful teachings for your children?  Are you growing healthily as a family whereby you may be completing physical workouts together? Are your energies focussed on the strength, health and vitalization of your partner and your family or are they antagonistic and bitterly exhaustive? Ask yourself, Do you need to cut your losses and work out a vitiation plan for the children or should you seek professional family or couples counseling? Only you know the answers but this is a new year and time is too PRECIOUS to keep doing the same old things unless the same old things are working for the highest good of everyone involved.

God has given us a mind to dip into the beautiful plethora of infinite possibilities. Start choosing together to partake in those which take you and your family forward; those that involve more and greater joy. Yes, work is a part of achieving the joy; therefore everyone will need to take a role in achieving the work and the challenges will need to be evenly distributed. Here's a thought: take turns exchanging tasks so that everyone involved gets the opportunity to work through different roles and not just the easy, enjoyable and glorious ones. Challenge yourself to make the less desireable tasks more tolerable and share (not push down the throat) your suggestions with your loved ones. I reiterate the word "share". Too often we can allow our ego which is eager to control to get in the way of  lovingkindness and reason.

Here's to the brand new couples who have made a vow to be the best team they can be in love, truth and respect. This message is sent with love to any couple, married or simply platonic friendships. See what you can do this year to make the relationship better, even if it is just one difference. Look ahead to the end of the scenario and discuss how you both want it to look in 1 month... 3 months...6 months and so on. Then return to it, work together and bring that scenario into reality. Stop allowing daytime and nightime television dramas and society's ill-adjusted conditioning dictate how your relationships will work. Your realationship is yours - take ownership and love it like only your unique self is instructed from within.
