My Day

Today I have another chance to splurge and enjoy the sweetness of life. Today I make beautiful adornments from beautiful jewels. I sing, dance and clap from joy. I love from deep within and I relax in knowing Christ in me my hope of glory and my all in all.
Walk in your blessings today!

Speak Spirit Speak
I am so very thankful to be able to hear Spirit speak to me. I shutter to think what my life would be like without knowing God, relating to God and hearing each and eveyday how Spirit increases and deepens my awareness. No amount of money nor any kind of bling can provide what this awareness does.
For "those with ears to hear"; those who are sincerely interested in becoming familiar with your higher purpose and tuning in to hear the inner message: the message of authenticity that is meant "just for you" - Get Still. Listen to your inner small voice of intuition speak to you today. Be quiet! Turn your attention to the light while becoming more and more relaxed, feeling immersed in, and embraced by the silence. Be still and know that the Almighty One that Knows all, is with you. Practice getting still and watch your discernment deepen.
Practice the Presence in peace.
In the Living Spirit.

What Was Said In The Beginning
God is the only Activity occurring. Remember - "In the beginning God..." [Gen1:1], and "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning [John 1:1]." You and I are entities for the expression of this Activity. What will you express through GodMind today? Will it be from your true-God-begotten Self or from that which others tell you that you should be and/or what others may expect of you? Will it be from your agreement with God that you "can do all things through Christ which strenghthens you"; Christ being the awesome power within you and all humankind to achieve and express excellence. Ask yourself today, What is my mode of operation? Give it deep and serious thought.
We are "the divine idea" ever expressing and unfolding the excellence that our Creative Source is, in and through us. May we keep remembering, (realigning with and reconnecting in mind) with this truth. Be still and know...God is I Am! May we turn our minds entirely to God always for instruction, for health, for provision, for companionship, for deliverance, for Life - indeed for All.
God is the only Activity occurring! In the beginning God!
"And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he
who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through his Spirit, who lives in you." (Romans 8:11, NIV)

Brilliant Gold-Dust
Anyone can show forth glimpses of short-lived eye-appeal; but a beautiful heart, which extends beyond skin-deep or surface level, radiates throughout an enduring track record with few unattractive snippets during off times. The reverse is also true. Ugliness can be seen transparently through a beautiful external facade.
When we willingly admit, recognize and renounce negative, ugly behaviors and patterns that are to be cleansed from our mental pallette, we are no longer doomed to repeat them again and again. Not until we do such cleansing, can we "hold" with consistency the Truth of our being which is purity, love, and beauty. Then we will experience beauty by radiating it in all areas of our lives. This kind of beauty transcends appearance and becomes likened to a most brilliant gold-dust in every facet of our lives--God-dust.
"...What matters is not your outer appearance--the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes--but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in" (I Peter 3:3-4) The Message.

Carpe Diem!
I love words, word origins and phrases. As I was skimming through different pieces of literature one day, I decided to look a bit deeper into the origin of the Latin phrase, 'carpe diem'. Noted in the Phrase Finder on Google, I learned the phrase is " 'Usually translated from the Latin as 'seize the day', or sometimes as 'enjoy the day, pluck the day when it is ripe' ".
One of the weekly messages received from Jewel Diamond Taylor, dynamic Public Speaker and one of my self-appointed mentor's, inspired me as follows on the subject:
"This is a day and week you have never seen before. Open the
present of life God has given you today. Seize the moment, seize this precious day. Do not waste it.Get moving. Be thankful. Be focused. Be productive. Be mindful of who and what activities get your energy and time.
Remember to refer to your things-to-do-list. This is one habit that has saved me time, energy and money. If your list is out of sight, it's out of mind and most likely won't get done.
As you let go of the "woulda, coulda and shoulda", you will have more energy to make the most of the present called today. If you can learn to shake off the stress and drama in your life, you will have more energy, faith and peace to move forward."
"God bless you and stay in the Light." ~ Jewel Diamond Taylor

Happy Fathers Day
Happy Father's Day!
To all of the fathers, father-figures and surrogates as well, we celebrate this day that God has made and given us all the choice in which to relish. Let's do so with a loving heart that forgives mis-takes, re-takes and just plain "unknowingness"; with a heart that embraces and cherishes the the God-given role of strength, lovingkindness, and guidance including discipline and integrity.
I was thinking about my father who has made his transition. I began to grow more appreciative and glad as I allowed the divine spirituality of my father to seep into my awareness. We dance, we laugh, we converse richly now. This is something which may or may not have occurred when my daddy was still in his physical form but it happens every time he comes to my awareness now. Glory! I begin to thank Almighty God for the many things I continue to learn from him.
It dawned on me, this is what I truly want to remember and how I want to interact with everyone. Unless we are doing our spiritual Christ-transforming work, we often come into contact and interact with one another from an externally-driven mode of expression whereby we model less than genuine and lower than loving intentions toward one another. And even then it still may be hit-or-miss depending on our level of understanding and frame of mind in the given moment.
We are to worship Almighty God in spirit and in truth which comes through our discernment and we will experience godliness by allowing God-essence to shine through our delivery of beingness. So I say Namaskar: I behold the divine in you. I know it is there because it is the image of the Creative Source and Architect of all Humankind. Anything else that may show forth teaches us to continue to unite with our Spiritual essence to keep seeing more of God within.
Happy Father's Day everyday.
In the Living Spirit,Ethel
